Elizabeth Lotfali is an associate at Roper Greyell, where she practices in all areas of workplace law, with a particular interest in workplace investigations, human rights, and civil litigation. Her journey with Roper Greyell began as a Summer Student, and she later completed her articles with the firm.

Driven by a human-centered approach to workplace law, Elizabeth finds fulfillment in helping clients navigate complex legal matters while building strong and enduring relationships. Career highlights include drafting submissions for the BC Supreme Court, contributing to various administrative tribunals, crafting compelling arguments, conducting investigations, and providing strategic counsel on a broad spectrum of workplace issues.

During her time in law school, Elizabeth demonstrated her commitment to social justice by serving as the Program Coordinator for the Ticket Defense Program, offering legal assistance to unhoused individuals in urban areas. Additionally, she worked as a research assistant, focusing on international commercial arbitration and analyzing the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses in Canada.

More recently, Elizabeth routinely volunteers with the Junior Youth Empowerment Program. In this role, she assists young people aged 11-15 in utilizing their skills and talents to serve their local communities.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Elizabeth embraces a diverse range of interests. She enjoys exploring the vibrant city of Vancouver with friends, engaging in outdoor activities like jogging along the Waterfront and exploring new hobbies such as pottery and sailing. Not to be forgotten is her enthusiastic participation in the bi-annual Bocce Ball tournament, a highly anticipated event within the firm.
