Lara Israel is an associate at Roper Greyell where she practices in all areas of workplace law. Lara first joined Roper Greyell as a summer student and continued on to complete her articles with the firm.
Career highlights for Lara include assisting with collective bargaining, preparing for hearings, and drafting submissions for the B.C. Labour Relations Board.
During her time at law school, Lara volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice program and participated in the judicial externship program at UBC which involved interning for judges in the B.C. Provincial Court. In addition, Lara attained numerous awards including: the Richard R. Sugden QC Prize in Trial Advocacy and the prestigious Allard Scholar Renewable Entrance Scholarship (a full ride scholarship) for three years in a row.
Outside of the office, Lara enjoys baking, hiking, and trying new board games…. Always with a coffee in hand!
