Norika is an associate at Roper Greyell, practicing in all areas of employment and labour law with a focus on human rights, workplace investigations and WorkSafeBC claims.
Norika has experience running a general civil litigation practice in the areas of insurance defence, health law and employment law, at a full-service firm in Vancouver. A well-rounded speaker, Norika has given presentations to clients on advancements in the law and has specifically presented on the changes to employment regulations during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Norika volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) where she assisted low-income individuals in Metro Vancouver with advice and representation in the areas of contract law, consumer protection and representation agreements. In her third year of law school, Norika participated in a full-time Judicial Externship program where she conducted research and provided writing assistance for judges in the Provincial Court. Norika was also the recipient of the Arthur Close, Q.C. Prize in Advanced Legal Research.
Prior to law school, Norika volunteered with the Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association and worked as a researcher in a neuroplasticity lab.
Away from the office, Norika stays active by running, hiking, and doing yoga. She can also be found with a cup of coffee and a good book.
