Sarina Gill is an associate at Roper Greyell where she practises in all areas of workplace law with a particular interest in labour, employment, and human rights.
Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Sarina practiced at a boutique workplace law and commercial litigation firm in Vancouver. Sarina comes with experience in the areas of health law and insurance defence having gained experience as both an articled student and associate at a civil litigation firm.
Career highlights for Sarina include appearing before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, drafting legal submissions and working with clients to find practical and creative solutions to their workplace issues and disputes.
Sarina values the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with leading lawyers in workplace law who are dedicated in supporting their clients needs. She is driven in finding innovative and pragmatic solutions in assisting clients find solutions for their business challenges.
While at law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Sarina played an active role as an executive committee member with the South Asian Law Students Society and was an ambassador through the UBC Law Ambassador Program. Sarina has extensive volunteer experience including working with Pro Bono Students Canada in assisting migrant workers with employment standards and human rights issues.
As a summer student, she worked with a large utility company’s in-house legal team where she gained firsthand experience in learning how to conduct regulatory investigations and compliance.
Away from the office Sarina enjoys staying active at the gym, travelling and spending quality time with her senior dog, Tiger.
