Amanda Scorda is an associate at Roper Greyell where she practices in all areas of workplace law. Amanda first joined Roper Greyell as a summer student and completed her articles with the firm.

Amanda is attracted to the human-centered aspect of workplace law. She enjoys working closely with clients to assist them with their legal matters and provide support that meets their unique needs. She appreciates the advisory aspect of the firm’s work that allows each lawyer to work closely with clients to prevent and solve workplace issues, balanced with the advocate role the firm takes on for all its clients.

Her career highlights to date include speaking at the BC Labour Relations Board as well as assisting with complex workplace investigations, human rights matters, and collective bargaining.

During her time in law school, Amanda was a summer semester co-op student for the Department of Justice, experienced an exchange semester at Utrecht University (Netherlands), and volunteered with Access Pro-Bono.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, cycling, or running.  She’s also a fan of natural wines and discovering funky local wines to enjoy with friends!
