Amanda Scorda is an associate at Roper Greyell where she practices in all areas of workplace law.
Amanda first joined Roper Greyell as a summer student and completed her articles with the firm. While at Roper Greyell, Amanda has assisted with representing clients across various industries in labour arbitrations and matters before the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Labour Relations Board, and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal. Amanda has also assisted with complex workplace investigations and collective bargaining.
Amanda is passionate about working closely with clients and learning about their business to provide dedicated assistance to support their legal needs. She appreciates the advisory aspect to prevent and solve workplace issues, balanced with the advocate role the firm takes on for all its clients.
During law school, Amanda was a summer semester co-op student for the Department of Justice where she worked on a large litigation team. Amanda also experienced an exchange semester at Utrecht University (Netherlands) where she learned European law while travelling around Europe.
Outside of work, you can find Amanda outdoors, whether it be running, hiking, camping or enjoying happy hour at a local brewery patio with friends.
