Kiran Mangat is an associate at Roper Greyell where she practices in all areas of workplace law with a particular interest in employment and litigation.
Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Kiran practiced at a full-service firm in the Tri-Cities area. Kiran comes with experience in employment and personal injury law, as well as in the areas of commercial, construction, and general civil litigation.
Driven by a passion for delivering tailored solutions, Kiran thrives on collaboration within her team to craft innovative approaches that align with each client’s distinct goals and objectives. Her dedication lies in equipping employers with effective strategies and resources to proactively navigate workplace challenges.
Throughout her career, Kiran has achieved notable milestones, including successfully managing a multi-day provincial court trial and representing clients in various hearings at both the BC Provincial Court and the BC Supreme Court.
While at law school at TRU, Kiran kept busy and was elected as a Director of the Society of Law Students, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and worked as a student editor for the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. During her studies, Kiran received various accolades, receiving the award for best appellant factum at the 2021 National Bowman Tax Law Moot, recipient of a Dean’s course prize in Privacy Law, and recipient of the Guild Yule course prize in Advocacy.
Outside of the office, Kiran enjoys a wide variety of activities. From cheering on the Canucks at Rogers Arena, traveling and exploring new cultures, spending time outdoors, and biking the seawall; to listening to a podcast, reading a good book, and spending time with friends and family.
