Maggie Williams is an associate at Roper Greyell, practicing in all areas of workplace law with a particular interest in litigation, complex workplace investigations, and human rights matters. Maggie first joined Roper Greyell as a summer student and completed her articles with the firm.

Drawn to Roper Greyell because of the firm’s emphasis on client engagement, Maggie enjoys fostering strong relationships with her clients and forming a solid understanding of their needs. She values the firm’s collaborative and supportive culture, commitment to excellence, and its reputation for handling complex and high-profile matters.

During her time in law school at the University of Victoria, Maggie was actively involved in the Law Students’ Society, serving as First Year Representative and later as Vice-President of Student Affairs. She also completed a co-op placement with the Department of Justice in the Public Safety, Defence, and Immigration portfolio.

A notable highlight for Maggie was receiving the James H.C. Walker Memorial Award for her commitment to public interest initiatives, including volunteer work with the Red Cedar Advocacy Centre, a non-profit organization providing pro-bono legal services to low-income individuals, Indigenous peoples, and other equity-seeking groups.

Away from the office, Maggie can be found hiking the North Shore mountains, biking around Stanley Park, or playing board games with friends.
