Michael is a partner* at Roper Greyell practicing in employment, labour, human rights, privacy, administrative as well as occupational health & safety law.
With extensive experience acting as both a litigator and solicitor, Michael is a valuable advisor to have on your side. Due to his unique skillset, clients often seek his advice on employment and labour law-related issues that bleed into other practice areas, such as corporate transactions, conflict of laws (multi- or cross-jurisdictional workplace issues), insolvency and trusts, among others.
Michael has assisted his clients through many complex and critical disputes. Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Michael practiced with a top international firm. Throughout his lengthy career, he has prioritized giving back to his community through pro bono work with the Ronald McDonald House in BC.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys camping, 4×4-ing, skiing, playing soccer, hiking, and spending time with his spouse and two children.
