Nazanin is an associate at Roper Greyell practicing in all areas of workplace and human rights law. Throughout her career, Nazanin has gained specialized knowledge and experience in claims involving workplace sexual misconduct, vicarious liability, trauma-informed practice, and temporary foreign worker issues.

Having successfully represented clients at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the BC Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of BC, the BC Employment Standards Branch, and the BC Labour Relations Board, Nazanin is a skilled and experienced advisor to have on your side. Just two years into her law career, she led a three-day human rights hearing and obtained a winning result — showcasing her innate and profound capabilities as a workplace lawyer.

Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Nazanin practiced with a boutique employment law firm in the Lower Mainland. While completing her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, Nazanin led a #LawNeedsFeminismBecause photo campaign, volunteered as a member of UBC’s inaugural Equity Student Advisory Council, and spent a semester as a temporary articling student with the Rise Women’s Legal Centre providing pro bono family law services. Now, alongside her law practice, Nazanin also acts as the Law and Policy Liaison for the Social Justice Section Executive with the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch.

Outside of the office, Nazanin can often be found improvising a new recipe, walking her dog on local trails, or hosting a games night.
