

Blanco is an associate at Roper Greyell, practicing in all areas of employment and labour law with a focus on human rights issues, civil claims, and labour disputes. She has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, before the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the B.C. Labour Relations Board, and many arbitrators.
Blanco regularly advises employers on broad range of workplace issues including contracts, policies, discipline, terminations, and accommodation issues. She works with clients in both the public and private sector including municipalities and employers in construction, health services and BC’s natural resource industries.
Known for her strong advocacy skills and her ability to navigate complex legal issues, Blanco approaches all her files with tenacity, creativity, and her clients’ business objectives in mind.
Blanco began her legal career at a large national firm where she gained experience working on a variety of complex corporate litigation files. She completed law school at the University of Toronto and completed her undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University on a full tuition academic scholarship.
Outside of the office Blanco is enthusiastic about any activity that capitalizes on BC’s beautiful backyard. She is also an avid supporter of performance art in Vancouver, and dabbles in a few art forms recreationally herself.
