Andrew joins with extensive experience advising and advocating for councils, boards, and their senior management on a wide range of workplace and governance related issues. He has experience advocating and appearing before the BC courts, workplace, human rights and privacy related administrative tribunals, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Fun fact: Andrew completed a summer internship at Roper Greyell after his first year of law school (Summer 2009). Joining Roper Greyell as Associate Counsel is like a homecoming for him!

Roper Greyell Welcomes Alie Teachman Back to the Firm

Roper Greyell is pleased to announce that Alie Teachman has returned to the firm as an associate.

Alie first joined the firm as a summer student. After completing her articles with Roper Greyell, Alie clerked for five justices at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, where she cultivated an interest in the complexities of civil litigation.

Throughout Alie’s law career she has become particularly passionate about advocacy. She looks forward to representing her clients’ interests at court, arbitrations, and administrative tribunals.

Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Morgan practiced general civil litigation at a top national law firm where she worked on a variety of complex cases and represented clients before all levels of court in British Columbia.

Jeevan joins Roper Greyell from a local Vancouver Insurance Firm where she crafted numerous complex legal submissions and appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Roper Greyell was pleased to sponsor the 42nd Annual Chinese Legal Community Banquet on Friday, August 9th at Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant. A group of RG team members enjoyed a traditional 10-course Chinese banquet and interacted and engaged with UBC law students.

The Honourable Judge Derek Mah and Mr. Daniel Lee were the panel speakers in the evening.

About the Event:

Since 1979, the UBC Chinese Law Students’ Association has hosted an annual banquet for legal professionals and students to socialize over a traditional 10-course Chinese dinner in recognition of the great cultural diversity in the Greater Vancouver legal community.

This event, whose aim is to draw attendance not only from members of the Chinese legal community, but practitioners from all different cultural backgrounds, allows lawyers and law students to connect, share stories, and discuss issues facing the legal profession.
